Trudy Posted May 10 Share Posted May 10 Well, it was one hell of a long ride. Mother's day doesn't bode well for my animals. I lost my first pet as an adult (g-pig) on Mother's day in 2001. We lost Jet on Mother's day in 2013. 2 years ago Jeff said Abby would choose Mother's Day. And she didn't. Last year, he said Mother's Day. And she didn't. Well, Mother's Day is Sunday, so I guess she did me a favor, though I think it is close enough to continue the curse. She had a good, long life. She's been old for a few years. We've had old girl problems for 2.5 years. I maintain, making old dog decisions is the worst. It doesn't get easier. It still sucks, big time. I mean, 14 and you know it's coming but damn, it stings just the same and it never, ever gets any easier. Trudy and Jeff, I am so very sorry it was Abby's time.
