A local nursery had pet pictures with Santa. It wasn't until later that I noticed Sasquatch was there too!

Thank you Mary Pat for the Secret Santa gifts for me and Manny. I love homemade jams, and the cloth for washing fruits and veggies looks great. Also, I love chocolate almost as much as Manny loves the treats you sent. The dinosaur toy is adorable.

I feel like I'm behind. I ordered my cards a week or so ago....they won't get here until after Thanksgiving. But I should get them mailed by the first weekend in December.

Manny does that. too. 'Hello. Of course you want to pet the greyhound.' If they don't he stands there and looks at them like, 'What's wrong with you? I'll wait for you to come to your senses.'

Hi Everyone, I'm not on GreyTalk much (yes, on the FB Group but not the forum), except for the card exchange and secret santa. Love both of these events. I am writing to tell you about the roller coaster year Manny has had. In April, he was running (flying) through a field, hit a hole and broke his right front leg and shattered his ankle. It was a freak accident - no cancer, thankfully. I opted for amputation due to the long recovery period for the pins and plate procedure; at his age (11), it allowed him to recover and enjoy life much more quickly. And enjoy life he does. We went to Yellowstone National Park for a week and to the beach at Long Beach, Washington for a few days. He loves to hang out with other dogs, runs short spurts, digs holes with one paw, plays with toys and spins in circles. He doesn't have as much endurance so we don't walk for miles....but we get out and enjoy life every day. He is amazing. We get to celebrate seven (7!) years together on Boxing Day! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, strong, amazing dog in my life.

Santa Manny would like to report that hoomom finally wrapped his prezzies for his friends far far away. The package is in the hoofs of Santa's reindeer now.

Manny likes toys small, squeeky and fluffy. He hasn't many teeth so nothing too tuffy. A Flying Irish Greyhound wears green all around town. Treats are the best Manny says yes, yes yes! Momma's soft spot is always for chocolate.
