I struggle with the correct words on how to accurately describe what a wonderful boy my Stan was. He was adopted as a 4 year old with no known race record and it was very evident he was clearly looking for his forever home when we found each other. As soon as I signed the adoption papers he jumped into my car and never looked back. Stan was a gentle soul that never asked for anything but your company. He was a great collector of stufffies-always had to have one available to grab when company arrived. He was diagnosed with osteo but as it would be it was his back that failed him. Just two days after his 4th chemo treatment, clean chest rads and 2 months post amp he lost all proprioception in his back legs. We simply ran out of legs. Stan passed peacefully while in my arms in his own bed. The silence in the house is deafening. :-( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One had a sense that it radiated from the inside out. I can only imagine how special he was to those who knew and loved him, above all you.My heart breaks for you.
