TheFullHouse Posted October 26, 2017 Share Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) Joey aka House Hunter 5/27/05-10-26-17 Thirteen days after his brother Sammie went to the bridge, Joey joined him. Turns out the cough was actually a fast growing tumor in his throat. X-rays taken a month ago were clear, todays showed a tumor, making eating difficult. He was my beautiful fawn boy, so full of life and the boss of the pack. He took a huge chunk of my heart with him today. I consider myself a pretty strong woman, I got it from my mom. Today though has brought me to my knees. Losing both of my beautiful boys less than two weeks apart is unbearable. Poor Mike is out of town and didnt get to say goodbye. My heart hurts for him too. Godspeed my beautiful boy. Give your brothers a kiss for me. Now all 10 from this litter are together again. Yet.... they are together again and this is how Mother Nature often works when a close loved one dies and the immune system that was, until then, keeping everything just under control can no longer cope with the extra stress. To us that remain Mother Nature sends the natural healing process which we call 'grieving' to bring those happy memories back without painfulness when the time is right.
