SPDoggie Posted July 26, 2016 Share Posted July 26, 2016 I am unable to post pictures at this moment, but wanted to get this posted, so for now: Ruby was suddenly not well. Was lethargic, breathing hard but shallow and was not interested in food. X-ray showed she had multiple tumors pushing on multiple organs and despite her eyes still being bright, the vet advised that it was better sooner-than-later. So thankful for vets that come to your house, and thankful for my 7 year old daughter who can take all this much-more in-stride than my husband or I. Ruby had a weekend full of love, ground beef and peanut butter and cool evenings in the grass of the back yard. She was toothless this last year or so, and I had taken to calling her, "girl with the tongue!" It made me laugh Thanks for all your sympathies... this is the first time in 11 years that we are now greyhound-less... we will see how long this lasts (not too long) So thankful for this community that I know "gets it" Quote Amy and Tim in Beverly, MA, with Chase and Always missing Kingsley (Drama King) and Ruby (KB's Bee Bopper).
