My Boy Taylor

Recommended Posts

Taylor saw his oncologist Wednesday for a checkup and chest x-rays.

The chest x-rays are CLEAR!!!!!

Confirmed by the radiologist's report today.

That is 3 months after amputation, and 6 months after original diagnosis of Osteosarcoma (bone cancer), with 4 rounds of Carboplatin chemo.

VERY GOOD NEWS!!!

He RUNS around the back yard just as fast on 3 legs as on 4.

Next checkup and chest x-rays in 3 months.

  • 4 weeks later...

It's been 6 months and 2 weeks since diagnosis with Osteo, and 3 months since amputation.

I recently flew to Connecticut for a week to catch up with family and friends, and the hounds stayed with a couple and their 4 greyhounds.

They said Taylor was always running around the back yard with the other dogs.

He's a happy boy.

This evening, I heard snoring and looked in back of me, and saw this (2 pics):
