lukasmom Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 I just heard that "June" who posted quite a bit on Greytalk lost her battle with cancer today. I had e-mailed her on 5/10 about the GEM event. She really wanted to go but her health was preventing that from happening. She hoped to go next year. She was a long time supporter of Regap of Illinois. She had texted and spoken to friends a few hours before she was found dead. I will miss her posts. Thanks to her friend Chris for keeping us informed. Hearing she was leaving the hospital for hospice last week was a shock. What a great loss for the greyhound community, and all who knew her. I can only imagine how much it meant for her to be able to go home to be with her dogs during her final days in hospice care. I'm relieved that she was able to arrange placement for them so she could pass more peacefully. Our sincere condolences to her family and friends. Godspeed this kind-hearted woman.
