Her back legs had a growth spurt, then her ears. She still has knobby foal knees.

:beatheart:beatheart  oh my!  How big will she be when she finishes?

Your guess is as good as mine. We don’t know who daddy is and we don’t know how big mom is. Mom is slightly scruffy so probably partly wolf or deerhound. I’ll report back on her weight on Thursday after her vet visit. Last week on Thursday she was 23 lbs compared to Feb 19 when she was 12 lbs.

"Foal knees" is an excellent description.

I'm not surprised about the "decoration" decision--18 week old ears don't usually listen well. :lol

there, fixed it for ya!

I kid. She’s actually a smart cookie who did have brains installed at the factory. She knows sit, down, place, kennel, touch, heel, and in theory knows what come means too.

Milo the lurcher says upright ears are highly overrated.

Not sure it needed to be fixed--hence the sit etc.--but I see your point. :lol

As you probably know/recall, the ears improve a bit with age, and then go bad again during adolescence. :rofl

Oh yes. I remember the mysterious on/off switch that comes about from when I had Fenway as a pup. “Come? Never heard of it”.

Me, taking dog to the vet: I think she’s deaf

Vet: let’s try the cheese test *crinkles wrapper*, that’ll be $75 for the office visit and $100 for diagnostic testing. My diagnosis is greyhound.

Me: *mumbling to dog* you better not have forgotten your wallet again

Lacy is a 10 month old whippet and hers are clearly defective.  They do not listen nor are they decorative!  They have not even completely formed!  :rofl
