Our girl Allie had super loud chatters like that. We also referred to them as castanets. Mark is also a chatterer and poor Lavida only has one tooth on the side where she chatters, so that tooth is hitting nothing to make noise. Quote Camp Broodie. Several years ago on this forum, someone referred to it as "heening" and that is the perfect description. Heen heen heeeeeeeeeen. Grace. Sweep also used to chatter when I put her collar on. The only notable chatterer here now is Hildy, who is mostly silent. I miss the castanets.
