She actually kept her food down today, and her feet have un-swelled again. She still has the spark in her eyes that tells us not yet. I have the number for a vet that comes to the house for euthanasia. They can do it at short notice, so we're just going to hang on for a little while more. It *did* say October 1st, but now it says Oct 12th (2000). Wow. So then, yes. Tomorrow would be her 11th Birthday. She's doing better today. Still swollen with fluid in her belly, but her attitude and energy level is higher. She's been scooting around the yard, barking at cats, begging for food - sort of "normal." Maybe she's just a slow healer. We'll keep on working with her as long as she wants us to.
