Don , I just purchased something on groupon - can't remember the name now - but thought it might give insight for Snickers and her never-ending eye/skin issues. Her skin is 98% better.. but her poor eyes are still so red and puffy! I'll let you know when I receive the kit - and the results.

several years ago, I took my three dogs tent camping all the time with my girlfriend who also had three dogs. We all slept in one big tent and between the two of us we had 4X pens that made one giant yard for the dogs. 6 dogs 😊 we made quite a camp site!!

I like a couple mixes. Choose what you have/like: Citrus mix/heavy on the Lemon Lemongrass Clove Cedar From young living oils:purification,,, a blend of several above 😊 Will repel ticks and fleas too

Essential oils in a glass spray bottle Use witch hazel then add essential oils Spray before going out. Really only lasts a couple hours so re-apply liberally when needed

just a thought about getting nutrition into your boy --- try Raw Hamburger meat. get organic grass fed if possible.. just roll it in little balls and see if he'll take it, if not, then the balls are easy to just push down their throat and it's easily digestible too. I had to do this for several months while nursing my boy back to health. I ended up using the hamburger balls as a way to administer all his pills and supplements. good luck!!

When a fea/tick collar is on the dog -- do you ever worry about the HUMAN getting a dose of the poison? before moving to AZ , I never thought about flea/tick issues,, they weren't an issue in Ut. But in Arizona, I have Ticks and am struggling with what to use. I don't like the topical, greasy mess for a couple days - I don't want to touch the dog,, and if I don't want it on me,, why would I put it on my dog.. The collars basically the same thing. they freak me out having a constant poison around their neck, exactly where I want to snuggle and pet and love on them. I do uses several essential oils, but I have to spray the dog daily.. it is a constant thought process. and I'm lazy and often forget, then I am picking ticks off my dog!! eww,, I hate ticks!!!

sorry to say - the price quoted to you seems right on for our area. I've had greyhounds now for 17 years,, some with terrible teeth - others blessed with perfect teeth. We have never had any issue with bleeding, anesthesia, waking up or anything!! knock on wood!! My oldest dog in for dental or other surgery was at age 13... I am the one who is a nervous wreck thru it all --- dogs always do fine! good luck!

I have started Agility with Snickers, tomorrow is our 3rd class. SHE IS SOO GOOD!!! brave, bold and willing to do anything for a treat! guess I'm lucky she is so food motivated I found a small size kibble for her Bait treats. She eats raw, so I wanted a high quality tempting morsel to keep her interested. Good luck, it will be fun to compare note a little later on.
