Guest saltwaterron Posted November 1, 2016 Share Posted November 1, 2016 took Riley to vet this morning because of severe limp she started yesterday..of course, i had my fears.. her health had been in decline since her 11th b'day in August..vet took x-rays and my fears were confirmed..cancer..came as a shock but not un-expected..she was in a lot of pain..a miracle i was able to get her in the truck..decided to make that tough decision...hurt so bad but thankful she is not hurting and thankful for the 8 years we had her..will be missed so much.. Twice we made the exact same decision, the exact same way as you, when we got the osteo diagnosis. For us, quality of life has always been the first, middle and last, most important thing when we've been faced with something like this.
