Beachbum1
Today is one year since my heart sank when Taylor was diagnosed with Osteo in his right front leg. Today is 9 months since his leg was amputated. Last night at 11:30 PM, he was FLYING around the back yard, leaping and spinning and running. Then it was time to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. He's a happy boy.

And we're a bunch of happy gt'ers to see him in his favorite position, letting it all hang out! Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog. Beachbum1
13 months since diagnosis of Osteo in his right front leg. 10 months since amputation. This morning, Taylor was running/leaping/spinning in the back yard. This afternoon, we went "shopping" downtown, and he met around a dozen people. Lots of hugs and kisses on his head, and people telling him what a good boy he is. Then he came home to rest with his monkey. Taylor's a happy boy. Beachbum1
Taylor (7 years old this past December) had his checkup Wednesday with his oncologist......"ALL CLEAR!!!!!!! His every 3 month chest x-rays and physical: FINE His every 6 month blood work: FINE In 10 days, it will be ONE year since amputation on April 10, 2015 , and also it will be 15 months since diagnosis with Osteosarcoma of his right front leg on January 10, 2015 . Treatment started immediately in January. Once a week for 4 weeks of radiation, and once every 3 weeks of the bone strengthening drug, Zoledronate. Chemo, Carboplatin (provided at N/C from Ohio State University) was given once a month for 4 months. Taylor is a happy boy. He loves and demands rides and walks 2-3 times a day. We're out every day, having out own "meet and greets". People are amazed to see how well he is doing, and smile when I tell them he runs around the back yard like a lunatic. He loves the attention and the hugs and kisses on his head. He goes from person to person with Face, looking for attention and hopefully treats!!
