EddiesMom15 Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Our Missy Pea went to the Bridge today. Sweet Pea came to us February 2, 2009 as a long term foster. She came to HGA from a brood farm with a badly healed broken leg. She went through quite a few homes due to extreme thunderphobia and general quirkiness. When DH learned her story he said she had been through enougn, this was her forever home. Pea raced at Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas, and was the Night of Stars IX champion on May 11, 2002. After her racing career ended, she came to Iowa as a broodie. We will miss her more than I can say. Run free, Missy Pea. Quote You! Out of the gene pool!
