dostacos Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 About 3 weeks ago my beautiful Queen started limping. She had done that before and got over it. This time after a week she was worse and really favoring the left front leg. We took her to the vet and the x-rays showed osteoscaroma in the left humerus almost at the scapula and traveling down 2/3s the length of the humerus. We started her on antibiotics and pain meds and she was showing greats signs of being her old self {she also had issues in her neck} today she got tangled up with one of my crutches and fell fracturing the humerus through the osteo and given about a 3 month survival IF with did a forequarter amputation {which I am not sure I could have affored anyway} we had her given pain meds to sleep and then on to the the bridge. Queen spent the last 5 plus years almost 24/7 with me. The only times we were apart were church and her or my doctor appointments. I lost my younger brother several years ago. I've also lost 6 greys. And I miss all of my greys much more than my own brother, because they lived with me.
