schultzlc Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 Well, it was bound to happen eventually! Nova (Atascocita Venus) arrived at my house last Saturday, technically as a foster. We knew she needed a home without kitties or other small pets, and our group had a hunch she might do well with my Luna. They were right! She's such a good girl, and, other than a couple of brief squabbles, her transition into my home has been pretty seamless! I hardly even notice the difference between having one dog vs. two. So, today I sent off a message that Nova has found her forever home, and once the paperwork is done, we'll be official. So, without further ado, please join me in welcoming Nova into my family! Here's a shot of her great ears. They only go two ways, all the way down, or all the way up. She's a sweetheart, and never hesitates to use you as a pillow. And here she is with Luna. I took her to the university campus where I work so we could practice going up and down stairs (with many distractions from the army of squirrels that were out and about today). These girls look a little bit like matched horses! Thanks for checking out Nova's intro! I actually thought about this today...I think that I'd have to go in search for a nice, big fawn boy to take on that role. I'm not sure when I ended up with the celestial theme!
