  1. I'm so very sorry, Ducky! Rest well, sweet Leela. I'm glad she got to know home and love with you.
  2. Would you add our sweet broody Lucia to the August list? Thank you!
  3. What a beautiful tribute to your sweet Laila. I feel the same way, that we are blessed to have them in our lives for the time they are here...and it's still not enough time, ever. Rest gently, brave girl. I'm so sorry for your loss.
  4. I'm even later to the party but wheeeeeeee! Congrats to the whole pack.
  5. What a beautiful girl, and what a beautiful tribute to Sweep. Thank you for sharing her with us. I'm so sorry she's gone.
  6. We had success with the Profender treatment, and found that FB group mentioned above and those two vets to be very helpful sources of info. Lucia came to us in 2020 as a 7-year old brood with hooks. We did the Advantage Multi and Drontal for more than a year before trying the Profender. She got her first dose of Profender in August of 2021, administered by a grey-savvy vet who talked with Dr. Jimenez Castro, calculated the dosage needed, and approved the prescription from Chewy (it is approved here for cats). Her next fecal came back negative. We did another dose in September, and got another negative fecal. Kept her on Advantage Multi only. Waited three months, did another fecal in January, still negative. Planned to wait 6 months for the next one, but in April she started having some appetite/GI issues again, and so we did a test early. It came back positive for the antigen but negative on eggs. So we're going to test again in three months. We also adopted Henry at the same time and he had them as well. He was not quite 2, and whether it was a shorter duration of prior infection or his different constitution (maybe just that he was younger, or that he hadn't given birth to three litters?), he responded to the AM/Drontal treatment and has been negative for several months. We continue to monitor him. Hope you find what works for Wiki!
  7. We used to joke that we gave our first two hounds a bath once a year whether they needed it or not. We brushed them occasionally, but not that often. Then came Falcon, who did not like water and had some space aggression issues. He never "needed" one so he was with us for almost 6 years with no bath. I wiped him down or spot-treated him a couple of times though. Henry and Lucia have been with us more than two years now and have't had a bath since their haul day. I'd say it depends on the dog but every 8 weeks? No way!
  8. Oh, it's lovely to see all their faces again! It's a 5-way tie by me, too.
  9. Thanks, I just emailed you from Yahoo.
  10. I read her name as "Ladiva" in the post title , but even if she's not La Diva it looks like she's fitting in. Glad to hear Mark is rolling with it too!
  11. Jen, I would be very interested! Lucia has been wearing Therapaws for her corns and they've been great, but the T/D size is indefinitely out of stock due to COVID. I measured her feet and I think she'd wear a pair of each. I'd be willing to try since I can't get the Therapaws. Let me know if you still have them for sale. Thanks!
  12. Happy birthday Sweep! It looks like the celebrations were fabulous, as is befitting.
  13. I'm so very sorry. Thanks for sharing your sweet Chief Broodie with us here. Rest well, sweet Petunia.
  14. Happy birthday Petunia! Looks like it was a wonderful celebration.
  15. Just catching up on all of this, and sending lots of good wishes to Sweep and to you. Put those feet up and eat all the chimken and oatmeal, cutie pie!
  16. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I love that picture of Charlie and Mazy!
  17. Welcome to Deero, and congrats to all of you! He is gorgeous. Our galgo, Grandpa Grey, also came from FBM. We've had greyhounds for many years so it's been interesting to notice the differences with galgos. Wishing you many happy years with your new boy!
  18. Sending good wishes to the whole extended pack--what a run of *stuff* you've all been through! Smooches and extra chimken to Petunia. I hope Sadie Rose finds the right home soon!
  19. Welcome home, Sadie, and congrats to the whole pack!
  20. I'm so sorry. Thanks for sharing her stories with us. Broodies.
  21. Welcome to Wiki! She's adorable, and I'm glad she found you.
  22. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Nigel. Thank you for sharing him with us--and with all those who benefitted from his therapy.
