BatterseaBrindl Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 My Heart Healer came home today...... Kibo is a tiny (30kg) estimated to be 2 yr old (what have I done ) Spanish Greyhound. Not a Galgo. He was found roaming the streets in Cordova with an Irish-bred Greyhound back in April and they were both taken to 112 Carlotta Galgos. It was discovered that Kibo had an untreated/healed fracture of his tibia and patella along with some spinal/neck trauma. As well, one testicle was not descended which required abdominal surgery At the Finca Kibo received excellent care / many therapy sessions and by the end of May he was declared to be 'ready for his forever'. My local Greyhound group in Ottawa (Greyhound Supporters-National Capitol Region) agreed to fly him across the pond to OhCanada and continue his PT and find his forever home. Kibo has had a wonderful foster home in Ottawa for the past 6 weeks, taking him back and forth to vet and therapy visits and just teaching him about life in a home. And chatters his teeth just a little bit You can see how his back is so very curved...like scoliosis...although here it is over exagerated because he is squished up on the couch.
