I don't know if I ever got to meet him; we occasionally "cheat on" our adoption group and attend GPA-NW functions; this year our reunion picnics were on the same day but we have been to you guys' a couple of times, and we like to go to the Pancake Breakfast & romp when we can. I wish I could have gotten to know him; he truly sounds like one in a million. Godspeed, Dude... You'll have a lot of fine company up there. Dude was a crazy pup and one of those that just slips into your heart no matter what he gets into and does, good or bad. I have said it before and will say it again, his look reminds me so much of Charlie just a different colour. When I see his eyes, I see Charlie's eyes. He was a beauty in every way and truly am sorry he left so soon. When I saw your post in H&M yesterday it really made me very sad, very sad indeed. Run free Dude, run free sweetie... Isn't that what we should all want for our pets? We rooted for Dude as he battled the miserable osteo month after month. We celebrated his milestones along with you. For nine months this year we were happy to know that Dude was winning the battle with osteo. We were devastated to learn that his battle had ended. Dude fought the good fight. You must be so proud of him. Our still sad hearts are thinking about all of you across the miles. Hoping Bee Wiseman and Dude are enjoying double turkey subs at the bridge. All the good times we had here with Dude and the Flashman, it was probably 2 years ago now but I can remember it like it was yesterday. A huge loss and I am so sorry Chris, I will miss him from afar. He leaves quite a legacy of love. God speed to you my friend, watch over those who love you and are now left behind with broken hearts. Help them travel this journey without you. I still haven't stopped crying over Dude's loss. Because it is such a gigantic loss. To you, to this board, to all of us. I am going to miss him so much. I have to tell you that I lost count of the days when I was depressed and a post by Dude in the WFUBCC or a picture of our favorite pirate houndie made me smile, made me laugh, and made me happy again. Dude had the most infectiously positive personality, and his bounciness and happiness were so special and unique. I am still having a hard time believing you're gone, but I will never ever forget you, Dude. Your love and enthusiasm for life will live on, and any day I am feeling blue or down in the dumps, thinking of you will help me find my smile again. We love you Dude!
