  1. That is what the cops with K9 partners do out here in AZ. Should be OK as long as you can lock the car and are not gone long (in case the AC or car quit working)
  2. this means you get extra treats, right?
  3. for months I was able to hide Conner's pills in mini peanut butter sandwiches
  4. Could be just a dislocation that popped back in on its own or, not sure how old Henry is, could be something Conner has called "sprung toe" where the ligaments around the joint are stretched out and the joint swells. That usually heals on its own with rest, but cold laser helps. Hopefully vet will figure it out.
  5. Jax sounds like he was just about the perfect dog, I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard on us when they go fast like that, but it is better for them
  6. Good update! hoping it is something easily treatable!
  7. If it does turn out to be skeletal/muscular I would also recommend trying acupuncture, along with other pain control medicines. Surgery definitely a last resort. Good luck
  8. Perfect indeed! Cletus (perfect name too ) reminds me of a dog we had at the AZ Humane Society when I was volunteer that was listed as "not good with chickens"
  9. Congratulations! Your visits mean so much
  10. What a He has the "whot?" expression down perfect!
  11. I have fed beef heart raw with no problems, although the first time I bought one whole and cut it up was I prefer to buy it already sliced BTW, although technically it is an organ, treat it like muscle meat, that is, you can feed more per meal.
  12. Oh my! What a character! He will keep you on your toes (not that the greyhoundies weren’t doing a perfectly fine job of that already)
  13. Conner is afraid of thunderstorms, and I have noticed that high winds also make him nervous, although no where near as bad as the thunder monsters. Some greys could care less, I am sure, but some of the more sensitive ones, and from what you have said it sounds like Arrow is one of those, are spooked by high winds.
