silverfish
I am so very sorry to hear that. Rest in peace, Dylan. I can say that I know a little of what you feel right now. I lost my beautiful Renie in a traumatic and sudden way early in 2008 and sweet Jack followed her only five months later in an equally traumatic way. I found the twin loss so very hard to get past, so my thoughts are very much with you. It's why I haven't ever changed my signature, I suppose. JohnF
I'm so sorry. Run free with the Angels Dylan. That kind of thing is our worst nightmare, it sounds like his body's regulatory system broke down leading to malignant hyperthermia which led to a cascade of other organ failures. Don't beat yourself up over this, he needed the operation to have a chance of a better life.

dante2zoe
I cannot express how sorry I am. I suddenly lost Zoe after a dental after having lost 2 3 months earlier. It was devastating and the guilt was overwhelming. But, as I was told over and over, I was trying to do what was in her best interests. It is so very hard. Rest in peace, Dylan. MP_the4pack
I'm so very sorry! It's my worst nightmare. Don't beat yourself up. I had the tieback done on my 11 yr old girl and she lived to 15.5. Guest LazyBlaze
I'm so sorry. It's everyone's dread and fear that something does not go right with a surgery, there is always that small risk. It's a risk that any one of us would also have taken, and my heart goes out to you that things did not go as they should have and you've lost your boy. You were doing your utmost to improve his quality of life; he would know this, and knew your love. My deepest condolences.
