He had lost the use of his back legs, and felt no pain in any of his paws when the vet pinched them. Both Paula and I were with him and we cradled his head, letting him know how much we loved him. He was a fighter, the first round didnt tke him, that big heart still beat and with the second round, we felt his heart beat for the last time and heard his final exhale.....Damn, this just doesnt get any easier.....
