Will get antibiotics for uti even though her culture was negative. If no improvement in appetite in a few days we will scope her gi tract. mom2four Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 (edited) Just an idea...After Marco passed away from a likely perforated ulcer, my regular vet says there is now a "camera in a pill" -my description because I don't know the proper name- that gets swallowed and goes through a dog's stomach and intestinal tract and takes tons of photos of the inside. Once it's pooped out they look at the pictures for any intestinal abnormalities. Vet said it was about $900 Canadian, mostly to look at the photos taken. I don't know if this is an idea or possibility if they can't find anything?? This still addresses the not wanting to eat symptoms she had at the beginning, if that's still the case.
