Guest jenmm Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 We had to send Joey to the bridge Monday. He will join his brother Ross and sister Rachel. They were all smiley dogs, will miss the smiles. He lived a long life and was the enforcer of the 3, he was a wannabe alpha. He and Ross always stuck up for each other. I ended up going from 3 to 5 greyhounds when Joey came along because I ended up with a foster who never left, that same weekend. Joey and Ross were always best buddies, but Joey was less serious. He wouldn't take treats from our hands. He protected our yard from small animals, including an opossum he got a day after getting 22 teeth removed. Run free, Joey!
