3DogNite Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 I had to say good by to my sweet Spirit on tuesday It was so sudden, it's just unbelievable that in just a couple short months she went from crazy, zooming, donut-twirling girl, to a stumbling, tripping, falling, incontinent failing body!! Lumbosacral stenosis came on fast and took away her dignity. I don't want to remember her the way she left this world, instead I will remember and I hope to soon be able to laugh and cherish the memories of her running, spinning and tossing her toys and asking for treats using her "indoor" voice so not to wake up the whole house at 5am! She is running with Lazer now, and I am for the first time without a greyhound to call my own in 18 years! I actually have a foster here for a few days who is helping to dry the tears.... but it's just not the same is it? The house is quiet without you here Spirit,,, i will never forget!
