Hawthorn
I can hardly believe it and just don't know what to say . Robin is the same age as my two. I am so very sorry and know how devastated you must be feeling. Robin has always been one of my GT favourites too. Again, I am so sorry and send my sympathy to you all. Rest in peace big, beautiful Robin . Quote When a relationship of love is disrupted, the relationship does not cease. The love continues; therefore, the relationship continues. heartdogs
I had to read his name twice before it hit me- NOT Robin, so sorry for your family. After my Patches went to the bridge Robin's pictures always made me smile as they looked very much alike. Hugs to all & some ear rubs to Toby. Robin go find Patches, he will show you the ropes at the bridge.

Guest 4rooers
I, too lost my big boy, Rourke to prostate cancer this past June at age 7.5. Horribly unfair, but know that you were a blessing to him, just as he was to you. Run with the wind, Robin. You are greytly loved.

BatterseaBrindl
I am so very sorry for the loss of your handsome Robin. racindog
I am so sorry to hear about Robin having to leave so soon. My, he was indeed a handsome hound. I have told my soulmate Slim who is at the bridge to look up Robin and help him in his transitioning. Slim too was a warrior in a greyhound suit. Slim crossed over at 6 yoa. It seems like there may be a tendency for these types to leave early. I kind of knew all along Slim would never get old though I didn't want to admit it. But I knew the warrior in him would never be able to accept the debility that comes with old age. Robin sounds like he has so much in common with Slim(except Slim didn't like people either except his family who he would have died for). My deepest sympathy. I hope over time you come to realize that Robin is with you still and will always be as my Slim is me. The "warrior" greyhounds are something else-those warrior attributes combined with the nobility and wisdom of the greyhound-yes indeed just having them in your life at all-even for such a short time-is indeed a GREYT blessing most will never know. The pictures are beautiful. :f_red :f_red

He hadn't even started to turn gray yet! He looked like he had so much more living to do. He was very handsome. My heart weeps with you. Xan
I'm so sorry. What a huge loss! And what a wonderful family you were to him, and he to you. I was just thinking this morning, starting to feel my own losses crowd in on me, that each loved one was also a gift, a time of sweetness, a chance to love and make memories, to share, all the time knowing it was fleeting. All those memories, so sweet or just comfortable when they were made, are now like framed photos, mementos of a wonderful trip taken together. They were reasons to smile at the time: it honors my beloved ones not to make every thought of them heavy and sad, but to keep their gifts of happiness alive even after they've gone. It's hard, especially at first. But I hope for you Robin's memories will soon come back to being reasons to smile, laugh, and remember the love with warmth and joy. :bighug Quote My Inspirations: Grey Pogo, borzoi Katie, Meep the cat, AND MY BELOVED DH!!!Missing Rowdy, Coco, Brilly, Happy and Wabi. Knowing how much I enjoyed just seeing his stunning pictures, and hearing about all the fun things he did with you, I can't imagine how much you will miss him. Though Robin was always a Greytalk favorite, and we felt lucky to share him with you, it was clear that he was exactly where he was meant to be. He was so loved!
