  1. Just got an email from Healthy Paws (bolding mine): This email is to provide notice — in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:27EE-51 — that Chubb submitted a filing on May 9, 2019 with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and has requested an average rate increase in the amount 36.3% for pet insurance. Maybe this is just for NJ but I'll be watching this thread.
  2. Thanks so much Dick! His pet name is Cian (kee-in). He's also 80 lbs.
  3. Hi Dick, I have a new boy, PJ Cognac http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=vHPOYT&d=PJ+Cognac&sex=&color=&birthyear=&birthland= Would love to know what you can tell me about him.
  4. I'm so very sorry that Murray couldn't stay longer. He was a very lucky boy to have had your patience & love all these years. My love to you, Burke & Holly as you work through life without him. Godspeed Murray! <3
  5. So happy Murray has done so well. See you soon buddy! ❤️❤️❤️
  6. I'm so sorry for your sudden loss. I loved seeing Beth's pictures & her adventures - she was a very lucky girl. I'm so sorry it was her time to leave you. Godspeed Beth!
  7. I'm so sorry for your loss. Betty Joan looked like such a soft, lovely girl so happy with you in her forever home. Thank you for sharing her with us, here & on IG, I'll miss seeing her beautiful face & her deep bark when meals were delayed. Godspeed Betty!
  8. Yes check the FB group. Someone just had great success with it this week. She mentioned what she used to keep them on. I'm gonna give it a try myself.
  9. I'm so sorry for your loss. Godspeed Morty!
  10. My corn dog just had one this weekend that looked similar, although I had to hull it myself. It was protruding from the pad (unusual for him) & had some blood visible through the corn. Most of his clearly are attached to a blood supply but this was the first one that I could see blood (dried) before I hulled it. I hope she feels better on that paw now.
  11. This happened to a friend's hound. I didn't realize it was "a thing" either. I've never cooked lamb but tried to feed it raw & none of my hounds would ever eat it. Very interesting.
  12. Please add Emily Driscoll & Quincy - I followed them on Instagram (puffmonster) & their loss is still so overwhelming. http://patch.com/illinois/naperville/it-hasnt-sunk-yet-says-father-naperville-woman-killed-crossing-road-0 http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/naperville-lisle/ct-fatal-crash-citations-naperville-tl-1120-20141114-story.html http://napervillesun.chicagotribune.com/2014/11/26/windgate-three-farms-subdivision-honor-emily-driscoll/
  13. I'm so very sorry. What a wonderful girl she was. Godspeed Charley!
  14. Pain meds for sure. I think if they leave their wounds alone, you won't need the cones.I agree with looking for signs of swelling, heat & pus. Hugs all around.
