He did so well for weeks and weeks, then the cancer figured out the chemo and it stopped working. The new chemo just wasn't enough and it has killed me to see him fall apart in literally 72 hours. I know that we did everything we could to keep him happy and pain free for that time, now he is pain and cancer free and enjoying Emma’s company once again. Over the last 15 weeks the bond between me and Toby has become amazing. I was put out of work on March 4th to have surgery; I got to spend so much time with him because of that. I am thankful for the extra time I had. Dr. Couto and the whole OSU team were amazing with Toby. If I called they always talked to me, emails always answered ASAP, I almost felt like they were here. I am working on a remembrance for him which will have his whole story. Thank you again! Without the support we had here this would have been a much more difficult thing.
