Houndtime Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) My sweet grand dog Nita was diagnosed this week with Osteo in her hind leg. She is just 10 years old. She was adopted as a 10 month old puppy who would not race as she had something called "slow puppy legs". NIta when she was first adopted. The little girl in the picture (our grand daughter). I am just heartbroken. There is another dog in the house; a smallish mixed breed, but the greyhound is my grand daughter's dog, totally. They were babies together. I thought of this last night: They lost their first greyhounds, SS Wiz Joe, to osteo also.
