I'm so incredibly sorry. It's heartbreaking to lose one greyhound. To lose two so close together, and both so young, is unspeakable.

Godspeed Malcolm.

Godspeed Lulu.

I'm so sorry for you loss... not just Lulu, but Malcolm, as well. It's never easy to lose a grey (as my wife and I are experiencing now), but to lose two... I can't imagine the pain. Time will heal the wounds, and time will also bring a flood of memories. Cherish the memories as they come to you. Write them down in a journal so that you can reflect on them and smile.

Know that you were a great dad for them, and they cherished their time with you. If it wasn't for you, they never would have found each other!

You are in my thoughts.

I am so very sorry. Both Lulu and Malcolm were beautiful and you gave them a life that allowed them to blossom. That is what they are thankful for and those videos show how happy they were. I am sorry they left so soon.

And why would Lulu have tried to escape? She had finally found everyone and everything she was looking for with you and Malcolm. It is abundantly clear just how much you loved your family, and how much you meant to them as well. I am so very sorry for your losses. :grouphug

They sound like they were absolutely wonderful. I'm crying with you as I read your posts.

I am born and raised Catholic. The philosophy is that animals do not have souls therefore cannot go to heaven. If that's the case I don't want to go to heaven, I want to go where my furkids went. (I've lost 6 pets in 2 yrs)

Lulu and Malcolm's stories are so beautiful and heartbreaking. They were clearly meant to be with each other, and with you, and I can't imagine how much you are missing them. The love you shared was so strong---I have no doubt that you will all see each other again. They are watching over you together.

I'm so sorry you lost your precious Lulu and Malcolm.

Rob, I am an atheist too, but I like to think of my Remy, stolen from me by OS only three months ago, up there at the bridge, reunited with his past buddies, his mom and siblings. I hope I will see him again too. It kills me to think I will never be with him again. I hope Malcolm and LuLu are together, running zoomies and playing. There has to be a better place than this for them. they are full of love and deserve nothing better.

Please bring another houndie into your life... sooner rather than later.... it doesn't do any dishonor to your memory of Malcolm and LuLu.... but it does help you with the grief... I couldn't dwell in the heartache of losing Remy.... I added Sarge to my home and he's done a grey job of mending my broken heart... sure there will always be a piece missing, it will never be put back together, but it helps to have another soul to help, and to honor their memories...
