Guest kaotic1 Posted August 30, 2012 Share Posted August 30, 2012 My foster Powder left us today. We had him for 9 months and he was our dog in all but name. He came to out house on Thanksgiving last year as a bounce after living in his old home for 9 years. The vets told us he had Kidney Disease and we neglected to tell him he was sick. He never knew it and it didn't stop him from doing what he loved. He was the most joyful creature I have ever known. His enthusiasm for even the smallest kindness frequently overwhelmed his coordination and the word "walk" would somtimes have him rebounding off the walls like a pinball. Sometimes he would fall down but he would pop back up. Why be worried about little things like "Dignity" when you can go on a walk? He wasn't always very graceful but he was full of grace and joy. For the last few days he was in a pain that no medicine could releive... so we let him go. He made me laugh every day we had him. Go in peace my boy!
