  1. As long as finances aren't an issue, I would say go for it!
  2. Soft tissue injuries can take a loooong time to heal, especially if they are not rested. Like, six weeks to two months minimum. I would keep him on restricted activity like you have been doing and the anti-inflammatory for a few more weeks, give it time to really heal. He is gorgeous
  3. Yes, first of all, try to relax! Hard, I know The dog you bring home will probably not the dog you see in six months. She/he will probably be pretty quiet, maybe not very responsive to you, trying to take in all the new things. Don't worry, you haven't adopted a dog who hates you Most don't have separation anxiety, you may have to deal with a few "accidents" as she/he gets used to your schedule. Really, they are all individuals, and it will be easier when the dog is in your apartment and you can ask specific questions. Good luck and have fun!
  4. I am so sorry to hear this, I was hoping we could meet Bella at next years Golden Girls Birthday party.
  5. Look at that tail wag Happy Holidays campers
  6. I hope Skye"s dental goes well and she has a quick recovery! I am sure she will feel so much better once that old broken tooth is gone. Val lost 7 teeth in her dental last month, and was begging for dinner that same night
  7. congratulations! She has such a beautiful brindle pattern
  8. You might as well have cats. Oh, wait, you do have cats Maybe they have been giving lessons
  9. Conner was prescribed omeprazole (Prilosec) after he was diagnosed with kidney disease, one tab daily. It worked well if that is easier for you to get.
  10. Famotidine (Pepcid) is similar and commonly used for that sort of thing and as far as I know there have been no recalls.
  11. It really depends on the dog, but most don't show a lot of interest in toys right off the track. She may start to show interest sometime in the next few months, or she may never play with toys. She may start playing with something weird, like cushions, or paper towels. Hopefully not your shoes! Its sort of like the couch, some do, some don't.
