DesiRayMom
The past 2 years with Mac have been madness. I wound up having the toast & adopting him. Shortly thereafter, he ate the top 4” off of a pair of fuzzy boots & cost me dearly having that removed. They told me he was around 7. No way. Vet & I agreed if he was 5 we’d be surprised. He certainly kept me moving. Multiple walks per day, multiple miles. The dog park a couple times a week for speed. Fast forward to the present. Annual exam in Oct. all is well. Just before Thanksgiving, his neck swelled. Lymph nodes. Crap. Vet confirmed, lymphoma. He’s gone, I’m heartbroken. He gave me a reason to get up every morning. Quote Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog.

macoduck
Some greyhounds seem to glide through life to a soft landing at the end. Others come crashing in, perhaps only asking of us to just turn a blind eye to the mayhem they cause. I feel guilty when I catch myself missing those the most over the easy ones. 1 Quote Freshy (Droopys Fresh), NoAh the podenco orito, Howie the portuguese podengo maneto Angels: Rita the podenco maneta, Lila, the podenco, Mr X aka Denali, Lulu the podenco andaluz, Hada the podenco maneta, Georgie Girl (UMR Cordella), Charlie the iggy, Mazy (CBR Crazy Girl), Potato, my mystery ibizan girl, Allen (M's Pretty Boy), Percy (Fast But True), Mikey (Doray's Patuti), Pudge le mutt, Tessa the iggy, Possum (Apostle), Gracie (Dusty Lady), Harold (Slatex Harold), "Cousin" Simon our step-iggy, Little Dude the iggy ,Bandit (Bb Blue Jay), Niña the galgo, Wally (Allen Hogg), Thane (Pog Mo Thoine), Oliver (JJ Special Agent), Comet, & Rosie our original mutt.
