Yesterday 2 new sofas were delivered to replace the giant ratty old sectional.  I am delighted; dogs are less so.  I managed to get each of them up on a new sofa one time.  Mostly, they would walk up to one and just stand next to it, looking unhappy.  To make things worse, I put the dog blankets usually covering the sofa in the washing machine.

This morning, there was a small, perfectly formed and already dried piece of poop lying on a sofa cushion.  There has never been an Interior Incident with these particular hounds.  Do you think it was a claiming maneuver?  A critical review?  Or a trauma-induced turd?  :lol

I am going to go with critical review :lol I expect the will be fine once they adjust to the change. Greyhounds hate changes in their routine almost as much as cats

On the name alone, I have to go with Trauma Induced Tud.

In their defense, perhaps one of the hounds fell so deeply asleep that they didn't realize that the turd fairy blessed them.  :lol

TiT for sure ;-)  They'd pee on it to stake an official claim. Dogs are ultra-conservative and dislike change after a certain age, just like a lot of people.

Trauma. The sofas are bad enough. The (temporary) loss of the blankets was probably even worse.

Poor boys. :rofl

Those people who say that dogs don't do things spitefully have never removed the preferred sleeping spot of a greyhound.

Exactly right! Thank you for pointing it out.

We have a new greyhound boy to my pack. We adopted him and a girl in July. We have 7 greyhounds and they get along well. The new boy wants to be the alpha and has an issue once with my alpha girl. She backed down and in the scuffle he bit her it was a crowded area in the hall. Been ok he’s better about space issues he is making progress. When my Lucy walks past him as he is laying on the ground she turned to look at him nothing more.
I hope they don’t hold grudges as I was hoping to let him stay outside the crate when we go somewhere or at night when we sleep.
