Guest greytkidsmom Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Tonight we said an unexpected goodbye for now to our sweet Kebo. The house is so quiet without the sound of his rhythmic breathing. He was a strong brave boy who spent 9 1/2 years on our couch and beat cancer twice. We are grateful that he chose us to be his humans and grateful for the humans who came rushing to our aid tonight. He came in from the back yard tonight with a broken right front leg. He had undergone local chemotherapy for cancer in his left front leg and was having progressively worsening back pain. We had been telling him it was okay to give us a sign if he was tired and this was it. He left for the bridge on a comfy bed in his living with DH, myself, and his fur sister Tiel. We are heartbroken but profoundly thankful to some truly good friends who came to our aid in a time of great need. I will write a more fitting tribute when I can.
