Finally! We've Got Our New Girl!

We signed the papers yesterday! We are very lucky to have adopted such a great little girl. We named her Bonnie, to go with her new dad, who's name is Clyde. She came to us from Daytona on Dec. 20th. She now climbs stairs and I think it's safe to say she's house trained; having had no accidents for about 5 days now. During her career, her name was Flying Kina, and she won 11 of her 76 races. She's a real social butterfly, with great doggy manners, and she loves meeting everyone she encounters. She gets super excited when she sees small children, and she will shimmy and spin her tail like a propeller whenever they approach her. We saw her run for the first time today, and I must say, it's a sight to behold. As an added bonus, all these walks have lost me 4 lbs., unheard of for me at the holidays! Anyway, I just wanted to introduce her, and show her off to everyone. We're over the moon to be new parents again. Happy New Year Everyone! :)

Congratulations on adding Bonnie to your family!

We had Gus' sister, Cricket finally retire and come to us from Daytona on Nov 10th - I'm glad to see you have a nice warm coat for your cute little Florida retiree. I'm going to have to check and see if our girls raced each other. :)

She looks adorable. How does the cat feel about her?
