I'm so sorry for your loss, Bill.

River had serious neck pain not long after we adopted her. We took her right to the emergency vet where she tested positive for Lyme disease. She was treated with pain killers and a very expensive course of antibiotics. Several months later we saw similar symptoms again. She was retested for Lyme disease. The Lyme test was clear, so we opted for X-rays which revealed some disc issues. River's neck issues have been resolved with anti inflammatory drugs for the time being. Good luck to Jasper.

When we first met, there was Bindi & Dazzle and Bee Wiseman & Murray. They're all gone now. We loved Dazzle for many years. We were so glad to see her in Getty, holding court and enjoying her houndie friends. She was so sweet and gentle. We're devastated by her loss. Jackie, we're sending you and Ty a big hug. I know that our babies are playing together again, happy and whole.

We lost Murray one year ago today. I miss his sweet face, his big eyes, his quiet presence. He was, and always will be, my favorite hound. I think about him often and wish he was still here with us. Our hearts were broken when he left, and today my heart is broken all over again. I couldn't have loved him more than I did. Momma still loves you, Murray. I always will.

Murray lived on rotisserie chickens in the last few weeks of his life when he wasn't eating much. He ate the meat without the skin. Thinking good thoughts for Brin. We know how stressful it is to have a hound that won't eat.

We used Hair of the Dog in the past. It gave us great results with Bee Wiseman, who had dry, flakey skin.
