Yes and also yes. Murray had a dental with extractions last July. With bloodwork that dental was $900. We've never seen a bill less than $600 for any dental our hounds have had over the last 8 years. I couldn't even imagine a bill under $200 for this type of procedure.

I'm so sorry, Annette. We were following along in the osteo thread and rooting Pogo on. You tried so hard for so long. Some things are beyond our control no matter how hard we try. We experienced this heartbreak firsthand with Murray and his brain tumor back in January. Sending you a hug and thinking about you.

All four of our dogs have been eating ProPlan Shredded Lamb and Rice. All of them have done great on it. It goes on sale regularly at Petsmart. They also send us coupons from time to time.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Brady.

These two sentences really stood out to me. These were two very prominent symptoms we saw with Murray just before he was diagnosed with his brain tumor. He became increasingly uncoordinated and confused as the days went by. He was just past his 12th birthday when an MRI confirmed that a tumor was growing on his pituitary gland. I don't want to scare you, but these symptoms were definitely present in Murray's case. I would consult a neurologist ASAP. I wish we had skipped our regular vet's attempts at ruling out other things and taken Murray to the neuro vet sooner. Murray also experienced inappetence and lost quite a bit of weight in a short time. I hope this isn't the case with Chase. I'll look for updates here on your baby.
