Guest DarkHorse Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 After losing Araley in July, we thought we'd wait it out until Dexter passed and take some dog-free time to ourselves before getting new pups. That thought didn't last long, though. Dexter was lonely, and we had a very obvious hole in our family that even the busyness of a move and a new house couldn't fill. So, once we were more or less settled, it was back to the adoption group, where we intended to get a new hound. Best laid plans and all that, because we ended up with two and now have what I am dubbing the "BBBP" - Beautiful Black Boys Pack! We picked them up on the 28th of August, and they're already settling right in and giving Dexter plenty of insanity to keep him occupied. KB is a snuggly sweetheart who just wants to give kisses to everyone and make sure that they know he's there, even if it means he has to jump up and tell them. Cole is a bit more stately, and very interested in everything, especially toys he can toss around and play catch (or fetch) with. Both are getting used to being in the house - they already know "down" and how to go up and down stairs!
