The research into Osteosarcoma and other cancers that affects our hounds is such an important endeavor that touches all of us.

Miss Millie (Northern Divide) was very much the senior when she came to the Miami Hound House. She had already dealt with one form of cancer only to be taken by Osteo. She was with us such a short time but made her mark on our hearts....

Lost my first greyhound, Mojo ( Mohican Money Jo) to osteo. He was a champion racer with a quiet and elegant demeanor. Although initially deemed not small animal safe, he became best buds with my dachshund, Bart (in picture) and found great joy in his post retirement job of breaking in fosters. He taught me to speak dog.

Reunite came to stay with me until another set of x-rays were due because the last set were inconclusive. The eleventh day she was with me we woke to her standing in her crate with an obviously broken leg. She never made a sound. It was osteo. I have never been so glad I said, "Yes" in my life.

Dennis and Dr Couto forever changed our world. Dennis was our first tri-pod. We are now on our 7th tri-pod, praying this one will be our long term survivor.
