Just talked with vet. Huston is still panting and he's not sure if it's the stress of the clinic (Huston does not like the clinic) or ? He is going to xray the chest and there is a pancreatitis test pending. i.e., nothing is really showing up but Huston is not "normal". He is not eating. Plan is for him to come home early afternoon.

So glad he's home and resting. My second greyhound, Keno, had pancreatitis. It was scary, but I was able to manage him well on a low fat diet.

Happy to hear that Huston is home and feeling better. You must be relieved, I understand the stress you must be feeling. You and pupper are in my prayers. The very best wishes for continued improvment.

He's been pretty sacked out since coming home. I offered him, and he ate, around 1/8 cup of lowfat yogurt.

He'll be offered low fat yogurt and no fat beef broth for a day or so. My having pancreatitis 3 years ago taught me a lot -- how painful it is and what you want to/will eat. For a week I lived on yogurt and wonton soup :)

Thank you for all the good wishes, prayers etc. They do help!

I'm so glad to hear that Huston is home and interested in eating! He must be exhausted after having to be in the hospital for so many days (you too Diane). Sending more prayers and healing light.
