kolarik1 Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 So we flunked fostering for the 2nd time in 6 months... Zelda chose Marble...and Marble chose Noah. She has been leaving her b/f statue alone ever since he came as a foster 2 weeks ago. He was born 11/2012 and his dad is Djays Octane...his mom was a gorgeous blue girl, Iruska something (I'll have to look her up). He never raced and is fairly mellow for a pup...and the cat bullies him. I'll have to update my signature again LOL Noah He knows to go running outside to chase the squirrels with the girls. And he has been doing zoomies in the back yard, then runs up on the deck and lets out one bark in Zelda's face to get her to run with him (her being the alpha diva she only likes to run by herself as she wants to be center of attention). kolarik1 Posted March 2, 2014 Author Share Posted March 2, 2014 Apparently there was another litter with the same breeding born in February 2012...so Noah has two sets of litters technically that are "full blooded" with him. When he came in as a foster, his name was "Wow" and he didn't really seem to know it. He seems to get that I'm talking to him when I say Noah, so we'll see how quickly he picks up on it. Now to see how soon before he is okay with me cuddling him...he is very submissive...the girls run rough shod all over him! kolarik1 Posted March 7, 2014 Author Share Posted March 7, 2014 Thanks everyone. After I lost Pop in Feb 2013 I thought that if I got another pup that I'd get a cowdog...then Marble came along. She was close with her being white and fawn brindle. When I was told that I was getting the boy foster from the haul I was thinking "cool." And then I saw a pic of him while coming to MI in the van...once I met him, I knew it'd be hard to let him go. His smiling at me with Pop's raincoat on (now Noah's raincoat) truly sealed the deal. I think Marble just wanted to keep him so she could have someone to bully as Zelda is the alpha. Yesterday Noah was playing with a toy (I have 2 identical toys from PetSmart) and Marble wanted it so she grabbed ahold. Well Noah thought it was great that his sister was playing tug'o'war with him. Marble was losing her grip and wanted the toy so she GROWLED and Noah dropped it! What a cheating snot!
