heartdogs Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 Lady came to me with 2 other girls from a farm east of Dallas where they'd been sent to become moms but that never happened so they just sat there for several years until we took them in. Now I only have one of these girls left & she isn't very happy. Lady was a sweet, quiet brindle girl that people didn't want to adopt because "she's too plain" as I was told too many times. Not everyone is beautiful looks wise but she was so loving it didn't matter. I worried about her when Noelle would have a seizure because she had a very strong prey drive but she always was the first to stand watch over Noelle & to walk around with her after the seizure ended. Noelle kept giving Lady kisses yesterday & this morning as if to say "please get well, I need you" Now the house seems so empty with just 4 dogs in it. She had one of the most peaceful passings I've ever watched & the vet said it was because she was so sick her body couldn't take any more. Run free sweet girl & find Ebony & Fern, Mom misses you.
