Guest twoskinnydogs Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Today my friends Patrick and Victoria are letting Spirit go to the rainbow bridge. I am posting this because they are not on GT and after adopting Spirit to them we have become friends. Spirit was diagnosed with OS in Feb 2012 and underwent right front amputation. She recovered well and started chemo. Two weeks ago Spirit began to limp on a back leg. Xray comfirmed the worst, OS again in her right rear. The last two weeks Spirit has spent completing tasks in her "bucket list". I was honored that seeing me was in that list and on May 12th I got to spend some time with Spirit. She will be greatly missed by Patrick and Victoria. She will join her sister, Shannon who passed last year. Godspeed sweet girl! This was taken during our last visit. She had a right front amputation with chemo and 6 months later OS showed up in her hind left leg. Considering it's supposed to be rare, I now know 1/2 dozen dogs that that's happened to.
