3greys2cats Posted May 1, 2012 Author Share Posted May 1, 2012 Thank you everyone for your kind words, I am missing Sara so very much, I am trying to hold onto the happy memories of my sweet girl, running to greet me with one of her stuffies @ the door, or standing in the back of the van w/her "bat ears" smiling @ me and whining " are we there yet mommy". I picked up her ashes last week and had to relive the last time I was there :cry1 and could not just run out as I had Max w/me for an eye problem he has that is slow to heal. My vets are so sweet that they were hugging me and stayed w/me till I was ok to drive. They had an imprint of her paw done and along w/her ashes, cards, I have made a shrine just below a portrait that Kent Roberts did a couple years ago of her and Max. I have many pics of her and will share some when I can. I have lost many kitties over the years and grieved over their loss but Sara is my 1st Greyhound that passed, I feel that things may never be the same again.
