Sometimes I think we try so hard to "fix" a dog who would really just as soon go peacefully with their heads in our lap, as your girls got to. I was so sad to read that osteo stole her away from you. How I hate that awful, cruel disease. I didn't realize that Bugsy was fighting a battle of her own. You gave those girls a wonderful life. You also gave them the gift of releasing them from their pain. This was a selfless, wonderful act. It hurts like hell for us, but it frees our beloved pets from the things we cannot cure and from the pain we cannot feel. My heart goes out to you today.
