  1. Worse still: My vet had a dog that ate the ones in the garbage and came thisclose to needing foreign body surgery. Gelsey-->
  2. Tete looks more relaxed already. I bet he'll look awesome in 6 months.
  3. Happy 9th Wiki! Opal, 13 1/2, says broodies don't ever have to grow up.
  4. Happy Gotcha Day Sid! Sid, keeping the house safe from murderous styrofoam.
  5. Oooo Lavida, it won't be long now. Your Daddyman's signature will change and the GT cheers will be heard all over. Maybe some magical chicken will slide into your bowl during the celebration. I love that you and Mark are bonding.
  6. I'm so very sorry. Your sweet girl had to leave much too soon. Godspeed Poppy. (I too love the name. My Poppy left too soon as well.)
  7. I think I prefer patio--gets the point (or, rather, the non-point) across in a more amusing fashion. As for donkey-->
  8. No advice--other than supporting the recommendation to consult with Dr. Couto--but best wishes to you and your boy. FWIW, I do know that pred can cause drinking, peeing, and muscle loss. I had a non-grey on mega doses for months; she did not develop lesions but she had all the other side effects.
  9. I understand why you won't add a dog until the paperwork is complete. I did once. I still don't have the paperwork for that dog. But I brought her across the border and she's been here for over 3 1/2 years, so I doubt the agency is expecting her back.
  10. Awesome update. You need to update your signature, because Lavida/La Diva is clearly no longer a foster--you won't crush Mark by sending her away.
  11. Happy Birthday Mark! Clever of you to get an early start with your dad's fries.
  12. Tsk. Tsk. You really ought to have read the assembly instructions.
  13. I'm so very sorry. Your handsome boy reached a good age and you had a lot of time together, but I wish he could have stayed longer. Godspeed Nando.
  14. Too bad your "foster" is having so much trouble settling in. Congratulations and welcome to Lavida Loca.
  15. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I love the second pic--she looks so satisfied and content. Sweet dream wags too.
  16. It's nice to "see" you again scullysmum. I still remember your seminal and definitive post on ETS. It continues to influence Greyhound-related discussions to this day.
  17. I hope Sweep is continuing to heal well. She sure looked awesome on Saturday. Sweep
  18. What a cutie! Congratulations!
  19. Perfect, with or without storage. Also much easier than my setup, which was inexpensive and works well, but is a PITA to get in and out. I can't have humans in the back seat or even vacuum without a lot of work. The one advantage of mine is that the whole area is covered so the dogs don't see the distinction, but that could be done with the Orvis blocks as well. Jan - I had much the same setup in my '02 Impreza, which was even smaller than the Crosstrek. Betsy and Edie used to ride there together without much trouble. I think I even had Perry, Minnie, and Betsy there for hour-long trips. There's probably a pic locked up in Photobucket.
