  1. No, she won't hate you, I promise! I had to take Johnny out a few times (no backyard!) when his most hated things were out there--fireworks and lawn equipment! Just keep it light and happy, and praise praise praise!
  2. Now we'll have to wait to see if she's a pumpkin-eater, too!
  3. What a beautiful girl, her name fits! I love it when they chatter.
  4. Brand name in US is Zantac, it's an antihistamine (Really!) used to treat acid reflux. https://www.drugs.com/ranitidine.html
  5. Good girl Peggy! I had my Lab on Zantac or Pepsid most of her life, as she had acid reflux. Cheap, easy to give, widely available, I'd say it was worth it.
  6. Can she have a little yogurt or cheese? Or some plain rice? Glad to know she's eating something
  7. They are supposed to be on sale at Care-a-lot Pets though next Saturday.
  8. None here, this is the second year of wearing one during spring-summer-fall.
  9. Aww, Peggy. Hope it is just the "stomach bug" and not something more serious.
  10. How's the beautiful Peggy this morning/afternoon?
  11. Good healing vibes coming your way, Conner!
  12. Great news, those old broodies are tough.
  13. Maybe if you complain to Trader Jodes about the misinformation, they might give you a gift card or something. Worth a try!
  14. Yeah, that's weird--Johnny can eat his chicken formula food no problem, I gave him a little fried chicken skin once and we were up all nite with the poops!
  15. Johnny gets these peely/dandruffy spots under his armpits. Could that be what they are seeing.
  16. Do the skin pinch test--is she truly dehydrated? She may not be drinking due to her upset tummy. Just FYI, it's hot-hot here, and Johnny doesn't drink like my Lab would, even after a good walk.
  17. I don't know about dogs, but they found my cat's mast cell in his intestines by ultrasound first, and then got the definitive diagnosis via biopsy after surgery.
  18. Is it hot where you're at? Some dogs don't like eating when it's hot.
  19. Johnny has no problem making these and Greenies disappear in record time (he gets large ones!). We've also done Minities and Whimzees (the big toothbrush shaped ones take a little longer due to their size and hardness).
  20. I think 1 per day is the dose, it's what I've used in the past. Maybe some mashed potatoes, plain?
  21. Oh yeah, small squeaky things--Johnny is obsessed with them when we go to Petsmart/Petco, both the birds and small mammals. He grabbed my mom's cockatiel by the tail feathers thru the cage, fortunately no harm done! But he does want to visit with the bird when we go over there .
