  1. I used the Seresto last summer, only found one tick on him at my parents' place in VA.
  2. Hey, what's a little pee between friends? Good to know
  3. Johnny growls at my cats, too, if he's in his bed and they try to get on, or they sniff his feet. Cats get scatted by me. Everyone gets along pretty well elsewhere!
  4. Hi! You have some great Grey owners in your neck of the woods! It may take a bit of time, some dogs are very sensitive to change. You can try an Adaptil Collar or diffuser, or L-theanine supplements to help with the anxiety. Also, let your neighbors know that yes, you are addressing the problem, it's just going to take a little time.
  5. Johnny loves to meet visitors, too! He's not that extreme, but he does jump on people, and we're still working on that! A 80 lbs launch into your gut is not fun. And he'll do it on your back, too, OUCH! He will lay partly in my lap, too. He loves to put his head under my arm and just stay there. What a weirdo!
  6. OMG, my heart just sank. Run free sweet Taylor, you have inspired us all!
  7. Are the stairs carpeted? If not, they make little rectangles to put down on the treaders. Johnny slipped on laminate while I was at work one day--he wouldn't come down the hall with me until I put runners all the way from the living room to the bedroom.
  8. Johnny greets me by the door, but he hears when I roll up and watches me from the sliding door until I get up the stairs. He has beds in both the bedroom and living room, but I'm pretty sure he just parks it in the living room all day. Now if I can only get him to quit jumping on me...
  9. Has he been licking more than usual? Maybe something small that got irritated?
  10. I think Galgos are more high energy, and they can JUMP. One tiny girl jumped straight up onto a vendor's table last year at Beach Bound Hounds, and didn't knock a single shirt down.
  11. Is there any reason why she has to stay in the bedroom? My Johnny likes to start off in the living room, then come down the hall. He hates being behind a closed door.
  12. Dick, can I say I enjoy reading all your commentary? Gives me a chuckle, too!
  13. Taylor! Whatever time you have left, I'm sure it will involve lots of ice cream !
  14. There was a movie called "Squirm" on Mystery Science Theater 3000, that makes me think about it!
  15. Lots of people here from both Carolinas, which part?
  16. We will be there, gotta get my registration in!
  17. Beautimous Bea, heal quickly! You have a lot more pumpkins to devour!
  18. Savannah is not too terribly far from us here in SC! Of course, we do have Please!
  19. No, definitely not. Johnny tolerated the dog park a few times, until other dogs wanted to play dominance games and he just wanted to do his own thing, and now he can't stand most other dogs. He has a very few "buddies" at our condo's park that he will play with. He is snarky with other greyhounds, so I keep him muzzled during the "meet and sniff butts" phase of our local hound walks.
  20. Trust me, cats are secretly plotting your demise so they can eat you. That's why they try to trip you up all the time!
  21. Yep, I crush Johnny's up and put it in a peanut butter sandwich.
