  1. Jan, are you going to ask about Cletus, too?
  2. Sounds like "Jesus Cletus" is going to be the new expression! I like the sound of it, lol. He is adorable.
  3. Aww, Happy Birthday, cutie! So far, Sherman thinks 10 is THE BESTEST and I bet you will, too!
  4. What a love! Congrats! He is too cute and you are just amazing. Glad all campers feel about him the same way we all do.
  5. Aww, what a cutie. He is getting his just desserts for his *indiscretion*, isn't he? Congrats. Those white muzzles get me every time.
  6. Happy birthday, you good looking boy! Hope your waffles and ice cream were the best!
  7. I have always muzzled mine when in the car and when we are not home. Better safe than sorry. Plus, the muzzle tells my guys that they are going to be on their own for a while and they promptly just chill out. A muzzle with a leash means a car ride and they go bonkers. Just my two cents. Congrats on fostering! My *fosters* have yet to leave the house, lol.
  8. I have had success with Adequan injections and Cosequin tablets. She is just so cute!
  9. It does sound funny, but I am actually happy to see it! Sherman will swallow a bully stick as quickly as possible, so this may just be the ticket. However, it appears that the thickness may be an issue. If it works, though, it would be $20.00 well spent.
  10. valleyvet.com charges 187.95 with free shipping for 100 pills at 5.4 mg
  11. That face! She is absolutely adorable. Congrats! Seniors are the best.
  12. Aww, congrats on your cuties! I have a different spin on being bounced due to kids or new furniture or whatever the cause du jour is. I would rather have them bounce than to be ignored or neglected while staying in a home that obviously doesn't deserve them. We picked up Sherman a week before his 9th birthday because they decided they couldn't have a dog and a toddler. Their loss became our enormous gain in that we love that boy to bits and he is the best ever. He, too, had to lose some serious weight (he was 30 pounds over race weight) but it came off easily and he is perfect. May your experience be the same - but doubled!
  13. So, so sorry. I followed her journey and was so hoping you had more time. Hugs.
  14. Oh No! I am stunned and so sad. Run free, Sweetie. Jan. I am so sorry.
  15. Aww, she was making sure all would be well for her sisters as she went to check on her dad. He needed her more than the girls did now. I am so sorry. Dottie B, make sure you send a sign, your "placeholder" could use one! I wonder if there are any hydrangea day lillies out there? Hugs.
  16. I have a Mazda3 hatchback. With the back seat down, I can fit 3 easily and have done 4 since they were pack mates. We also recently purchased a Subaru Forester as our "family" vehicle. I needed a better car for bad weather. Plus, it has more head room which is good for my 85 pound male. He is more comfortable, height-wise, with this car. Before the Forester, we had a Dodge Durango and he simply would not jump into it. He will jump into the Forester since it is lower to the ground, but not nearly as low as a mini-van. I had kids and never did the mini-van thing!
  17. I am so sorry. My outcome was the same. He knew he was loved. Wishing you peace.
  18. Goose had a more likely than not nerve sheath tumor and we couldn't get his pain under control. It was horrible to lose him early and it not be cancer. Hopefully, it is something else and he is more comfortable. Hugs.
  19. I am so very sorry. Loved the Rocket stories. He will be missed and mourned by many. Wishing you peace.
  20. How tragic. I am so very sorry. Run free, Sarge.
  21. I have had both. My whippet required more exercise than most of my greys ever have. Since the whippet is available now, maybe you could foster him/her to see if it works?
  22. "The flame that burns twice as bright, burns half as long." I am sorry that you lost your sweet and funny girl. Wishing you peace.
  23. I am so very sorry. It is so difficult to take their pain away by putting it on yourself. I have lost two to osteo and both were diagnosed by a traumatic break - no signs prior. I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy. I wish you and Bakin peace and comfort as she takes this last turn in her journey. We will look for her star tonight.
  24. Oh, Pam, I am so sorry and worried for you. I hope your law enforcement is able to do something.
